This is by far the best green bean casserole I've ever had!
The recipe was handed down from my ex mother in-law and my daughter and I love making it
every chance we get. I'm telling you once you make this recipe, you'll never go back to the ordinary recipe, it's really that delicious!
2 bags regular cut green beans
4-6 slices bacon chopped
3 inches of velvetta cheese cubed
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
4-6 mushrooms washed and sliced
Pour Beans in hot water until completely thawed
Completely strain water from beans
Cut bacon into small pieces
Add soup, mushrooms, bacon and cheese to green beans
Get your hands dirty and mix it all together (remember to take off rings! I have cooked my rings before in with this meal!)
Bake for 60 min at 325 degrees
